Rivo 2.4.14

1. Android: To scroll a page vertically, press 3 or 9.

Rivo 2.4.8

1. Commands changed
1.1. To enter Bluetooth pairing mode, hold down KEYBOARD and AUDIO together until Rivo vibrates three times.

1.3. To clear the phone number entered in Phone mode, hold down T4 until Rivo vibrates.

2. Commands added for VoiceOver
2.1. To open VoiceOver Quick Settings, press R1 + L1, 1.

3. Keyboard switching setting
3.1. The keyboard switching behavior triggered by repeatedly pressing L3 or L4 can be disabled. It is enabled by default.
3.2. To change the keyboard switching setting, hold down L3, then press and hold L4 until Rivo vibrates. Rivo vibrates once when keyboard switching is enabled and twice when it is disabled.
3.3. When the setting is disabled, the keyboard does not switch when L3 or L4 is pressed more than once.
3.4. The keyboard can always be switched manually using L3 + L4, regardless of the keyboard switching setting.

4. Commands changed for Apple Watch
4.1. All Apple Watch commands use the vertical orientation.
4.2. Press AUDIO to switch Rivo to Media mode.
4.3. Press KEYBOARD to disconnect Rivo.
4.4. Press KEYBOARD and AUDIO together to switch Rivo to Phone mode.
4.5. To use Siri, press * in Media mode.

5. The update procedure has been simplified, and the updater can now update all versions of Rivo2 on a Windows PC.

Rivo 2.4.7

1. VoiceOver
1.1. To lock or unlock the screen, press L1 + R4.
1.2. To toggle VoiceOver on or off on an iPhone without a physical Home button, hold down L1, then quickly press R4 three times.
1.3. To activate Siri on an iPhone without a physical Home button, hold down L1 + R4.
1.4. The short delay between letters while typing, which was introduced for iOS 14, has been removed for iOS 15. Typing may therefore feel slightly faster.

2. TalkBack
2.1. To show the TalkBack menu, press #.
2.2. L1 jumps to the status bar first instead of the navigation bar.
2.3. To select the previous or next reading control, press R1 + * or R1 + #.
2.4. To change the value of the current reading control, press R1 + 2 or R1 + 8.
2.5. To play or pause the currently active media, press L1 + R1, R1. During a phone call, this command receives or ends the call.
2.6. To show the list of actions for the selected item, press L1 + R1, 2.
2.7. To search the screen for an item, press L1 + R1, 7. Then switch Rivo to Typing mode, enter the search text, and press R3. To return to Navigation mode, press R4.

Rivo 2.4.5

1. When voice recognition is activated with R1 + 3 in Keyboard mode, Rivo automatically switches to Audio mode before activating it.
2. A voice message can be recorded while L1 + R1, 5 is held down on audio recording buttons in apps such as iPhone Messages or WhatsApp.
3. When there is an incoming call, press * + L2 to receive it and automatically switch the audio between Rivo and the smartphone. In this case, Rivo can be used to enter DTMF touch tones while talking through the smartphone or a Bluetooth earphone connected to the smartphone.

Rivo 2.4.4

1. Fixed an incorrect battery level notification that could occur when Rivo was connected to an Android smartphone immediately after being turned on.

Rivo 2.4.3

1. (iOS) To select the next rotor, press #. To select the previous rotor, press + *, or simply press * immediately after selecting a rotor.
2. (watchOS) When Rivo is paired with a new device while in watchOS mode, Rivo switches to Apple iOS VoiceOver mode.
3. (TalkBack & Voice Assistant) To jump to the previous or next 5th item, press L1 + 4 or L1 + 6.

Rivo 2.3

1. DTMF touch tones are played when buttons are pressed in Phone mode instead of a monotone beep.
2. A Bluetooth earphone can also be used together with Rivo. In particular, during a phone call, D3 + 0 or * + L2 can switch between Rivo and the Bluetooth earphone while Rivo buttons can still be used to enter touch tones. Note that this command switches between the two most recently active devices.
3. Rivo vibrates when a device is saved or removed.
4. Rivo vibrates once when a device is connected and twice when it is disconnected.
5. If a stored device number is selected without first disconnecting the current connection, Rivo automatically disconnects from the current device and connects to the selected device. In this case, the current Rivo mode (Keyboard or Audio) is maintained.
6. Fixed a bug that changed the sound volume to maximum when the phone volume shortcut keys were pressed while Siri was running.
7. Fixed a bug that changed the phone volume to maximum when ending the previous phone call in speakerphone mode.

Rivo 2.2

1. The commands for unlocking buttons, switching to Phone mode, and checking the battery level have been changed.
1.1. To unlock Rivo and switch to Keyboard mode, press KEYBOARD + POWER.
1.2. To unlock Rivo and switch to Audio mode, press AUDIO + POWER.
1.3. To switch to Phone mode, press POWER + AUDIO or press KEYBOARD and AUDIO simultaneously.
1.4. To check the battery level, press POWER + KEYBOARD.

2. Google TalkBack and Samsung Voice Assistant are supported on Android.
2.1. Set Rivo to use TalkBack, Voice Assistant, or iOS as follows:
2.1a. TalkBack: L3 + L1, 3, 4, 2.
2.1b. Voice Assistant: L3 + L1, 3, 4, 5.
2.1c. iOS: L3 + L1, 3, 6.
2.1d. The settings are stored separately for each saved device.
2.1e. Rivo uses iOS VoiceOver mode by default and retains the last screen reader mode selected.

2.2. The default keyboard on Android needs to be configured as follows:
2.2a. Find the “Gboard - Google Keyboard” app on the Google Play Store.
2.2b. Enable Gboard under Settings / General management / Language and input / On-screen keyboard / Manage keyboards / Gboard.
2.2c. Set Gboard as the default keyboard under Settings / General management / Language and input / Default keyboard / Gboard.
2.2d. Currently, only English and Korean are supported. More languages will be added.

2.3. Rivo commands are almost the same across devices, except for Navigation mode on Android and iOS.

3. Even when the buttons are locked, you can receive, end, or reject a phone call using shortcuts.
3.1. Receive an incoming call: * + R1.
3.2. End the current call or reject an incoming call: * + R4.

4. The issue where Rivo automatically switches to Audio mode when the KEYBOARD button is pressed can be avoided. If this occurs on your iPhone, set Rivo to reject audio connection requests from the iPhone as follows:
4.1. Reject audio connection requests: L3 + L1, 7, 4, 5.
4.2. Accept audio connection requests: L3 + L1, 7, 4, 4.

5. You can activate voice recognition without using the Home button. Press R1 + 3 in Audio mode.

6. Fixed a bug that caused the volume to change to maximum when a second call came in.
